About the role#
The Business Analyst Intern will join the Credit & Collections functional tower within the Business Transformation team. You will work alongside transformation leaders and functional consultants to support the multi-year CIS Modernization Program. This role focuses on the systems and processes that manage customer billing, payment arrangements, and past-due accounts. You will gain hands-on experience with large-scale enterprise transformation and build domain knowledge in the utility industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist in gathering, documenting, and organizing business requirements for Credit & Collections processes.
- Support requirements and design workshops by preparing materials and capturing notes, decisions, and action items.
- Document current-state and proposed future-state processes while maintaining requirements traceability.
- Compile and summarize data to support analysis, decision-making, and status reporting.
- Coordinate with business subject-matter experts and functional consultants to clarify open questions.
- Support testing activities by helping document test scenarios and tracking results.
What you'll need#
- Current student with Sophomore status or higher at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Project Management.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer, with the possibility of part-time hours during the school year.
- Preferred: Coursework or projects involving business process analysis, requirements gathering, or data analysis.
- Preferred: Familiarity with process mapping, flowcharting, or business analysis concepts.
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Preferred: Interest in the utility industry or large-scale technology transformation.

- Modality: Hybrid, with occasional collaboration at the program's Denver work location.
