About the role#
This is a paid internship for students pursuing a Master's degree in social services. You will work in community-based programs to support children and families. The schedule is flexible and non-traditional, as it depends on the availability of the families you serve.
What you'll do#
- Shadow counselors during home and community-based family sessions.
- Manage a reduced caseload and implement clinical interventions.
- Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, groups, or families using evidence-based practices.
- Attend three weekly meetings focused on individual, team, and clinical consultation.
- Access clinical training to build your professional skills.
- Complete accurate documentation in our electronic medical record system.
- Provide transportation to various locations as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be actively pursuing a Master’s degree in a social services discipline, such as psychology, criminal justice, or related fields.
- A current, valid driver’s license is required.
- You must have your own automobile for work purposes and provide proof of auto insurance.

- This role is located in Plymouth and Raynham, Massachusetts.
- The position is on-site.
- This internship is for the Winter 2027 term.
- Compensation is $25 per hour.
