About the role#
As an Accounting Intern, you will support the integrity and accuracy of our financial information. You will assist with transaction processing, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support. This role provides hands-on experience with accounting operations and month-end close processes while you contribute to our financial success.
What you'll do#
- Support the administration of the travel and expense reporting system, including reviewing reports and assisting employees with submissions.
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations with supporting documentation.
- Assist with journal entry preparation and processing.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities within established deadlines.
- Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested.
- Help document accounting procedures, internal controls, and process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Exposure to accounting coursework and a basic understanding of U.S. GAAP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
