About the role#
As an Inventory Intern at Accelevation, you will work on projects that improve inventory accuracy, material visibility, and cycle count effectiveness. You will collaborate with our warehouse, production, and supply chain teams to identify inventory variances and analyze root causes. This role provides hands-on experience with ERP systems and manufacturing operations while contributing to business performance.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain variance aging reports to track open inventory discrepancies and support timely resolution.
- Analyze inventory variances to identify recurring trends by part, location, transaction type, or process.
- Audit inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, material issues, adjustments, and shipments, to find sources of inaccuracies.
- Support Epicor data cleanup initiatives by resolving issues involving units of measure, locations, quantities, and part information.
- Manage the cycle count program, including scheduling, variance review, reporting, and escalation of recurring issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, or manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, reconcile, and analyze data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
