About the role#
Advanced Space is seeking a 2027 DevOps Summer Intern to support cloud infrastructure and automation processes. You will work alongside technical staff to improve development workflows and support mission-focused software development. This role provides hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and cloud operations in an aerospace environment.
What you'll do#
- Support DevOps and cloud infrastructure initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical staff on projects to improve infrastructure reliability and engineering productivity.
- Use automation and scripting tools including Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Assist with AWS environment maintenance and platform administration for tools like GitLab, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
- Gain exposure to AWS services, containerized workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Document your work through technical reports and present results to the DevOps team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Foundational knowledge of computer programming and software development practices.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line environments.
- Experience with or exposure to Git and version control systems.
- Interest in cloud computing, infrastructure, automation, and cybersecurity.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
