About the role#
AIMCo is seeking a student to join the Renewable Resources group for an eight-month term. This program manages a global portfolio of timberland and agricultural assets. You will work alongside investment professionals to analyze projects, monitor performance, and support the execution of new investment opportunities. This is a full-time position running from May 2027 through December 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the analysis and execution of investment opportunities across renewable resource sectors.
- Assist with due diligence processes and build complex financial models.
- Develop recommendations and approval materials for potential investments.
- Monitor the financial and operating results of current investments.
- Conduct global macro research to help inform future portfolio construction.
What you'll need#
- Completion of second or third-year undergraduate studies in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A record of outstanding academic achievement.
- Strong technical proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn about renewable resources.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
- Term: Summer 2027 and Fall 2027 (8 months).
- Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
