    About the role#

    This is a full-time, 4-month summer internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will join the Mortgage team to help manage a portfolio of approximately $7 billion in investments across Canadian, US, and UK markets. This role offers an opportunity to gain professional experience in mortgage investment underwriting and data management.

    What you'll do#

    • Review annual loans by completing rent roll updates.
    • Process operating statements, including inputting tenant classification and market research.
    • Manage and update loan information.
    • Assist the team with mortgage investment underwriting and reporting.
    • Identify and implement efficiencies within the mortgage portfolio.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Experience with database programs like MS Access or SQL.
    • Exposure to automated reporting tools such as PowerBI.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Effective communication abilities and attention to detail.

    • This position is located on-site in Edmonton, Alberta.
    • The term runs from May 2027 through August 2027.
    • This is a paid position.
