About the role#
As a Quality Intern focusing on non-conformity management, you will work with the Industrial Quality department to improve how we track and resolve production issues. You will design and build tools to automate daily tasks and provide better visibility into our operations. This role involves working directly with engineers, technicians, and operators at our La Pocatiere site to turn raw data into actionable insights.
What you'll do#
- Analyze the specific needs of the Industrial Quality team regarding non-conformity tracking.
- Design and develop an automation tool tailored to our business requirements.
- Integrate data from SAP into your custom tool for consistent use.
- Build dynamic dashboards and statistical reports to monitor non-conformities.
- Propose new solutions to refine and improve existing quality processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for engineering, computer science, management, or a related field.
- Understanding of ERP systems, with preference for experience in SAP.
- Ability to analyze data and build dashboards using tools like Excel or Power BI.
- Practical skills in programming or automation, such as VBA or Python.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with different teams.
