About the role#
The Global GNSS Design team in Calgary develops positioning and correction services for precision technology. You will work with engineers on GNSS receiver firmware, correction services, and algorithm design. This role focuses on high-accuracy techniques like PPP and RTK to provide reliable navigation for agriculture and construction equipment.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers on PPP and RTK correction services to improve accuracy.
- Support the development of embedded GNSS receiver firmware.
- Design and test geodetic transform algorithms using MATLAB, C++, and Python.
- Conduct validation and verification testing with global GNSS datasets.
- Analyze data to support improvements in the performance of GNSS-based systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program.
- Pursuit of at least a Bachelor degree in Geomatics Engineering or a related field.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: CA$22.66 to CA$38.11 per hour.
