About the role#
Join us for a 10-week summer internship where you will contribute to real-world technology projects. You will work within the Enterprise Technology Services organization to help build, test, and scale AI-enabled solutions. This is an on-site role based in Phoenix, Arizona, designed for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Cybersecurity.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and integration of AI and machine learning models, LLM integrations, and intelligent services into controlled systems.
- Assist with data collection, preprocessing, transformation, and management to enable model training, testing, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, data, risk, and security partners to implement AI-driven solutions that align with business requirements.
- Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, and code reviews.
- Document technical decisions, model parameters, prompts, evaluation assumptions, and data pipelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time bachelor’s degree program.
- Knowledge of Python and foundational data processing technologies.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts such as model training, evaluation, feature engineering, and experimentation.
- Experience with modern AI systems, including LLM APIs, prompt-based interactions, retrieval patterns, or generative AI applications.
- Awareness of responsible AI, security, governance, compliance, and reliability considerations.
