About the role#
As an AI Engineer Intern, you will participate in a 10-week summer program focused on building, testing, and scaling AI-enabled solutions. You will work within the Enterprise Technology Services organization to contribute to real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience in how intelligent systems are developed, validated, and governed in a global enterprise environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and integration of AI/ML models, LLM integrations, or intelligent services into production-like systems.
- Assist with data collection, preprocessing, transformation, and management to facilitate model training and evaluation.
- Contribute to testing, debugging, and improving AI solutions to enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, data, risk, and security partners to implement AI-driven solutions that meet business requirements.
- Document model parameters, prompts, evaluation assumptions, data pipelines, and technical decisions to ensure reproducibility.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Proficiency in Python and foundational data processing technologies.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, including model training, evaluation, feature engineering, and experimentation.
- Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Phoenix, Arizona.
- Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
