About the role#
This internship is part of the US Consumer Services team at American Express. You will join a group responsible for managing consumer products, including premium card portfolios, lending, and global travel services. This is a full-time, paid summer program for undergraduate students.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team in managing product and marketing strategy.
- Analyze data to propose growth opportunities and improve business performance.
- Develop cost-benefit analyses to test the feasibility of new projects.
- Manage marketing or customer-focused initiatives from start to finish.
- Implement tests to measure the effectiveness of your work.
- Identify new ways to improve the overall customer experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to conceptualize and sell ideas.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine interest in payments innovation, digital trends, and the travel or dining industries.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
