About the role#
Greenberg Theatre Production Assistants work with full-time staff on theatre, musical theatre, and dance productions. You will also help set up and run rental events held at the theatre.
What you'll do#
- Build and paint scenery and properties.
- Hang lights for various productions.
- Set up audio, projection, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Operate technical equipment during events.
- Assist staff with additional production-related projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at American University.
- Availability to work 6 to 12 hours per week.
- Ability to assist with theatre, musical theatre, and dance productions.
- Students majoring in Art or Media Studies are encouraged to apply.

- Location: Washington, DC.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $18.40 per hour.
