About the role#
As an intern in the Office of the CFO, you will work with professionals who support mid-sized companies, Fortune 500 firms, and private equity clients. This role involves assisting our teams in delivering financial strategies and operational improvements. You will gain exposure to diverse finance functions and contribute to projects that address client needs at critical business inflection points.
What you'll do#
- Support financial planning and analysis through long-range planning, budgeting, and scenario modeling.
- Design management reporting packages that focus on key performance indicators.
- Use data analytics and visualization tools to predict business outcomes and influence decision-making.
- Work on balance sheet and cash flow optimization to improve working capital and reporting transparency.
- Optimize finance and accounting processes to increase operational effectiveness.
- Assist with transaction preparation, execution, and Day One readiness.
- Fill interim or surge resource needs within client leadership teams.
- Identify and apply artificial intelligence and automation to enhance finance processes.
- Address financial risk management concerns for audit committees and boards.
- Assess finance organization strategies, operating models, and technology.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management, or Economics.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft product suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills.
- Experience with AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies.
- Ability to synthesize complex, unstructured information into clear recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to high professional and ethical standards.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
- Willingness to travel up to 80%.
