About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Food Service Worker at Lake Erie College. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will work on-site in Painesville, Ohio, and assist in daily operations across serving, retail, and dining areas. Night and weekend shifts are available.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly based on temperature requirements and spoilage prevention.
- Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Serve guests and follow established service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment to meet regulatory standards.
- Manage multiple tasks at once.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Professional communication skills when working with team members, supervisors, vendors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
