About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Food Service Worker for the Miller Galleria at Thiel College. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Interact with guests in dining and retail areas using proper service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations according to regulatory standards.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a steady pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Professional communication skills for interacting with team members, supervisors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors and client representatives.
