About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring student workers for on-campus food service roles at Taylor University. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food properly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up service stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Interact with guests in dining and retail areas while following service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment to meet regulatory standards.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a steady pace.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student on campus.
- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule.
- Strong work ethic and clear communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with team members, supervisors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
