    About the role#

    The High School Internship program at Banner Health offers students professional experience within the healthcare industry. Interns work under the supervision of a department manager to gain practical knowledge and insight into healthcare operations. This is a paid, temporary, part-time position scheduled for 10 weeks during the summer of 2026.

    What you'll do#

    • Gain exposure to various roles related to your field of study.
    • Participate in work teams and contribute to department projects and initiatives.
    • Conduct research and prepare reports on assigned topics.
    • Collaborate with team members to provide service to internal and external customers.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be a current high school senior.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • General knowledge related to your specific department or area of study.
    • Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Sterling Regional Medical Center, Sterling, Colorado.
    • Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week for 10 weeks.
    • Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
    • Orientation: August 3, 2026.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
