About the role#
The High School Internship program at Banner Health offers students professional experience within the healthcare industry. Interns work under the supervision of a department manager to gain practical knowledge and insight into healthcare operations. This is a paid, temporary, part-time position scheduled for 10 weeks during the summer of 2026.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to various roles related to your field of study.
- Participate in work teams and contribute to department projects and initiatives.
- Conduct research and prepare reports on assigned topics.
- Collaborate with team members to provide service to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current high school senior.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- General knowledge related to your specific department or area of study.
- Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
Location & details#
- Location: Sterling Regional Medical Center, Sterling, Colorado.
- Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week for 10 weeks.
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
- Orientation: August 3, 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
