About the role#
This position supports the Student-Athlete Formation unit at Baylor University. You will help plan and evaluate programs that promote the holistic development of student-athletes, with a focus on career readiness, personal growth, NIL education, and life after sports. Success in this role requires working effectively with student-athletes, coaches, faculty, and campus partners.
What you'll do#
- Create educational resources and events centered on brand development for student-athletes, coaches, and staff.
- Ensure all programming aligns with university, NCAA, and state NIL regulations.
- Partner with athletics units to provide guidance on personal branding, social media strategy, and marketplace positioning.
- Lead career development initiatives to prepare student-athletes for their professional lives.
- Build and maintain relationships with coaches, athletics staff, and community organizations to support program goals.
- Assist in the implementation of leadership and personal growth programming.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Specific experience providing NIL education or deep knowledge of NIL in intercollegiate athletics.
- A commitment to the Christian mission of Baylor University.
- Experience planning and facilitating workshops or events.
- Strong relationship-building skills across various stakeholder groups.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, or Human Resources.
