About the role#
The Baylor Career Center is looking for a Marketing Assistant to support our communications and event initiatives. This role focuses on creating video content for student audiences and assisting with broader promotional projects. It is a paid, on-site position ideal for students who want hands-on experience in media production and marketing strategy.
What you'll do#
- Develop creative video concepts that align with Career Center programs and events.
- Plan, script, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for social media and digital platforms.
- Create promotional content to engage the student body.
- Provide logistical support for event preparation and setup.
- Assist with general marketing and communications campaigns.
- Collaborate with staff while managing your own assignments independently.
- Provide professional customer service to students, employers, and campus partners.
What you'll need#
- You are a creative and motivated student.
- You can work well with a team and also complete tasks on your own.
- You have professional communication skills.
- You are comfortable providing customer service.
- Preferred majors include Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, or Graphic Design.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas (Sid Richardson building).
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Minimum 10 hours per week.
