About the role#
Baylor University is hiring an Office Assistant for South Russell Hall. This role provides administrative support to the residential community. You will serve as a resource for residents, visitors, and staff while helping maintain a secure living environment.
What you'll do#
- Monitor door security and alert staff if issues arise.
- Provide administrative support to residents, such as room access and equipment check-outs.
- Maintain accurate log books for administrative tasks, including maintenance requests and lost and found items.
- Help residents communicate concerns to hall staff.
- Enforce Campus Living and Learning policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in typing.
- Ability to learn computer programs for front desk operations.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to provide customer service to a diverse population.
- Sound judgment to handle needs or crises as they arise.
Location & details#
- Location: South Russell Hall, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 5 to 20 hours per week between 7 a.m. and 1 a.m.
- Pay: $8.00 per hour.
- Majors: Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology.
