    About the role#

    Baylor Experience and Admissions Representatives (BEARs) work with Undergraduate Admissions to represent the university to prospective students, parents, and guests. You will operate out of the Hurd Welcome Center and assist with student recruitment efforts. This position offers flexible scheduling built around your classes and opportunities for leadership roles and pay increases.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform business operations duties for your assigned area.
    • Provide customer service to university guests.
    • Lead 90-minute walking tours of the campus.
    • Operate a golf cart shuttle, subject to Baylor Risk Management approval.
    • Assist with the setup and teardown of recruitment events.
    • Complete various projects and tasks related to business operations.
    • Attend all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours) at Baylor University.
    • Ability to work at least 8 hours per week and 5 weekend events each semester.
    • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift 10-15 pounds.
    • Commitment to professional behavior, including appearance and interactions with coworkers and guests.
    • Majors in Business Administration are encouraged to apply.

    • Location: Mark and Paula Hurd Center, Waco, Texas.
    • Terms: Positions begin in Summer 2026 or Fall 2026.
    • Pay: $10.00 per hour.
    • Modality: On-site.
