About the role#
We are hiring a student worker to assist the Baylor Sciences and Facilities department. This role provides administrative support within the Baylor Science Building. You will work 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
What you'll do#
- Provide general office assistance including filing, tracking information, and submitting work orders.
- Greet students, faculty, staff, and visitors while answering inquiries.
- Screen phone calls and assist with shared space maintenance.
- Manage confidential materials and maintain accurate files and reports.
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word to complete various projects and tasks.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance and follow university policies.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and good organizational habits.
- Proficiency with basic office equipment and computer software.
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Current enrollment in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Psychology programs is preferred.

- This position is located at the Baylor Science Building in Waco, Texas.
- This is an on-site, paid position.
- The term for this role is Summer 2026.
