    About the role#

    The Student Success Ambassador program helps students improve their academic and interpersonal well-being. You will work within the Paul L. Foster Success Center to support peers and connect them with university resources. This is a paid position for the Fall 2026 semester.

    What you'll do#

    • Attend the Strategic Learning 1102-N7 course, which covers talent development, learning science, and study strategies.
    • Connect students with relevant campus and community resources.
    • Share your experiences and available resources with peers in your classes and student organizations.
    • Participate in tutoring programming provided by the university.
    • Attend weekly check-ins to discuss learning strategies.
    • Promote Success Center resources through your personal social media accounts, following university guidelines.
    • Maintain regular attendance for all classes, tutoring sessions, and supplemental instruction.

    What you'll need#

    • Current freshman status at Baylor University.
    • Minimum GPA of 2.5.
    • No history of severe disciplinary records.
    • Ability to follow university policies and maintain punctual attendance.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Sid Richardson building, Waco, Texas.
    • Schedule: 7 hours per week.
    • Term: Fall 2026 semester.
    • Work modality: On-site.
