About the role#
Baylor University is hiring a Student Worker to support the Alleluia Conference. This is a paid, full-time position for the week of July 20, 2026. You will work at the Truett Seminary campus in Waco to help facilitate this music and worship enrichment event.
What you'll do#
- Assist patrons and speakers with room navigation, materials, and welcoming duties.
- Manage ushering for large events.
- Handle the setup and teardown of various conference spaces.
- Support worship leadership components when needed.
- Float between buildings to deliver items, pick up supplies, and complete other assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Availability to work full-time hours during the week of the conference.
- Comfort with hospitality and support roles for attendees and speakers.
- Ability to adapt to different tasks and help with event leadership as required.
- Enrollment in majors such as Communications, Media Studies, Public Health, Psychology, or Business Administration is preferred.
