About the role#
Baylor University is hiring a STEAM Tutor for the Transformation Waco Afterschool Club. This role focuses on hands-on learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics for local students. You will represent the University while working with community partners to support educational programming.
What you'll do#
- Plan, organize, and implement community services and programs.
- Assist in working with external community service partners.
- Provide customer service as a representative of the University.
- Support program development and mentor fellow tutors.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all pertinent information.
- Present information in group or workshop settings.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
- Interest in STEAM education.
- Current enrollment as a student in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Communications.

- This position is located on-site in Waco, Texas.
- The role is for the Fall 2026 term.
