About the role#
Baylor Women’s Basketball is looking for a student employee to support the Director of Team Operations and the Director of Recruiting Content. This role provides administrative, data, and creative support to help streamline recruiting workflows and produce multimedia materials while maintaining compliance with NCAA and institutional rules.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update the recruiting database, including prospect profiles, contact logs, evaluation notes, and visit histories.
- Assist with scheduling, logistics, and hospitality for recruiting visits and on-campus events, including managing itineraries and travel arrangements.
- Support game day hospitality for recruits.
- Create and edit recruiting content, such as graphic design for mailers and text graphics, as well as short-form video clips and highlight reels.
- Perform administrative tasks like expense tracking, filing, photocopying, data archiving, and office organization.
- Maintain an inventory of recruiting-related equipment and order supplies as needed.
- Assist with photography for in-game and behind-the-scenes content.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student at Baylor University in good academic standing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic competency with graphic and media tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Familiarity with photo and video capture using a DSLR or a high-quality smartphone.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Reliable transportation or the ability to travel as needed for departmental duties.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends during recruiting periods and game seasons.
Location & details#
- Location: Foster Pavillion, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid position.
