About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will join our team for the Winter 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in the accounting industry. This role focuses on learning our firm's practices and building professional relationships.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a structured training program to learn Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
- Assist with various stages of the audit process using our specific methodology.
- Communicate with client contacts, including customers, creditors, and banks, regarding audit issues.
- Prepare and document work in working papers using firm tools and templates.
- Complete one assigned accounting or audit research project.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting.
- Active pursuit of school credits required for CPA licensure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Metairie, Louisiana.
