About the role#
As a Tax Intern in Core Tax Services, you will work with experienced professionals to support our client base. This role offers hands-on experience with firm practices and provides an opportunity to build professional relationships while you develop your career.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns and extensions.
- Use referencing systems and workpapers to tie data to returns.
- Perform quarterly estimates.
- Assist with responses to Internal Revenue Service notices.
- Support components of income tax provisions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting or a relevant field.
- Active pursuit of school credits to become a CPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
