About the role#
This Student Worker position supports faculty and staff within the chemistry, physics, and geology departments at Blinn College. You will help maintain an organized and safe environment for academic lab work.
What you'll do#
- Set up and take down laboratory equipment for exercises.
- Organize and clean lab work areas.
- Prepare chemical solutions and dilutions.
- Clean and maintain glassware.
- Assist faculty members with tasks as requested.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student majoring in Chemistry or Physics.
- Ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals.
- Proficiency in using personal protective equipment.
- Experience or ability to prepare chemical solutions and maintain glassware.
Location & details#
- Location: Bryan, Texas.
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time position.
- Hiring is on a rolling basis.
