About the role#
CACI is looking for interns to join the Radar and Sensor Technologies Portfolio for the summer of 2027. You will work on projects related to synthetic aperture radar, low observables, and electro-optical techniques. This role involves working alongside experts to develop and enhance radar capabilities for government users.
What you'll do#
- Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into functional software applications.
- Collaborate with other developers through code reviews and technical exchanges.
- Build and improve automated test and verification software and tools.
- Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
- Update legacy code into modern languages and integrate that software into existing stacks.
- Learn about radar phenomenology and algorithm implementation while writing clean, efficient code.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C++, Java, Rust, CUDA, or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently within a team environment.
- Willingness and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- An interest in learning new remote sensing technologies.
