About the role#
Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises is hiring a Student Assistant to support the Mobility Scooter Project within the Computer Science Department. This role works under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, Dr. Tingting Chen, on a National Science Foundation funded research project.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing AI application systems to assess the safety of mobility scooter users.
- Collect, process, and analyze research data.
- Manage project documentation tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year university undergraduate program.
- A major in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience working effectively in a team environment.
- Preference is given to students currently enrolled in graduate school or pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science.
