About the role#
As a Business Management Associate Intern, you will gain hands-on experience within Cargill’s Animal Nutrition business. This 12-week summer program is designed to provide exposure to various business operations and help you determine your fit within the organization. You will work on a significant project that connects you with cross-functional teams and provides insight into the daily realities of the business.
What you'll do#
- Complete a significant project while gaining exposure to areas such as strategic pricing, supply chain, commodity merchandising, feed formulation, sourcing, or strategic marketing and technology.
- Take on accountability or shared accountability for business financials, plant operations, and employee engagement.
- Network with other interns and co-ops from across the U.S. through organized events and development opportunities.
- Engage with leadership and mentors to support your professional growth.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in supply chain, operations, business, sales, finance, agribusiness, business analytics, animal science, economics, ag-economics, leadership studies, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2029.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- High level of initiative and resourcefulness when working with limited guidance.
- Geographic flexibility and willingness to relocate for an internship anywhere in the U.S.
- Availability to complete the full 12-week program during the summer months of May, June, July, and August.
- Right to work in the U.S. without reliance on student or third-party sponsored visas.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship located in Olathe, Kansas.
- The program duration is 12 weeks during the summer of 2026.
