    About the role#

    This internship offers hands-on experience in trading and sales within Cargill Risk Management. You will gain exposure to our business operations while working on real projects. The program lasts for 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Monitor short-term trading strategies and books for specific commodities, markets, or customers.
    • Reconcile routine profit and loss estimates and reports.
    • Track customer and competitor activity alongside industry trends.
    • Implement sales strategies, identify potential customers, and build relationships with existing ones.
    • Handle basic tasks under supervision and escalate complex issues to senior staff.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance, business, mathematics, or a related field.
    • Graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
    • Legal right to work in the U.S. without reliance on a student visa.
    • Ability to complete the full 12-week program from May or June through August 2027.
    • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working in a team environment.

    • Location: Wayzata, Minnesota.
    • Modality: On-site and hybrid arrangements.
    • Duration: 12 weeks, full-time.
    • Compensation: Paid hourly, with an expected rate of $23.13 to $32.02 depending on graduation date and eligibility.
