About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will join our Digital Technology and Data team. You will work either as an individual contributor or as part of a project team. This role focuses on building engineering skills in areas such as cloud platforms, big data, and application development. You will gain hands-on experience in real business situations while learning about the broader Cargill organization. We provide mentorship and ongoing performance evaluations to support your growth throughout the summer.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with a major or minor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technology discipline.
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 and Summer 2027.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Foundational knowledge of structured programming, systems analysis, database design, and business concepts.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week internship from late May to early August.
- Right to work in the U.S. without the need for third-party visa sponsorship.

- The role is on-site and full-time.
- The program duration is 12 weeks during the Summer of 2027.
