About the role#
Empirical Foods is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. You will work on projects that support our manufacturing technology systems and gain exposure to how different departments collaborate on technical initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Write and develop software programs, applications, and websites.
- Review development requirements to ensure they meet functionality and design needs.
- Improve existing software programs to increase productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects.
- Create and update technical documentation and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, C#.NET Core, and React.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- General computer proficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-task team environment.
