About the role#
WJCL offers a paid internship for students to work with our technology team in Savannah. You will gain exposure to the systems that design, install, and manage our broadcast and information technology infrastructure. This role provides a practical look at the technical production environment over a 10-week period.
What you'll do#
- Shadow team members to learn how our broadcast systems function.
- Complete daily tasks and contribute to specific projects.
- Participate in structured training sessions on our internal systems.
- Develop an understanding of the theory behind broadcast and communications technology.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, or Business Administration.
- An interest in multimedia production, streaming, and broadcasting technology.
- Familiarity with information technology and electrical engineering concepts.

- Location: Savannah, Georgia.
- Schedule: On-site, up to 24 hours per week.
- Duration: 10 weeks.
