About the role#
CHS Inc. is hiring an Agronomy Operations Intern to support our farming and agriculture operations. This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity that runs during the Winter and Summer of 2027. You will work on-site to gain practical skills in agronomy while collaborating with experienced professionals and customers.
What you'll do#
- Learn general agronomy skills including crop scouting, product application, and mixing procedures.
- Perform daily seed and agronomy operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment like sprayers, trucks, conveyors, and floaters.
- Provide customer service and support to our local clients.
- Maintain a clean work environment that follows all safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- An agriculture background or previous internship experience is helpful but not required.

- This role is based on-site in Selby, South Dakota, or Eureka, South Dakota.
- The position is full-time and paid.
