About the role#
We are looking for an Agronomy Operations Intern to join our team in Corsica, South Dakota. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling start date. You will work on-site and gain experience in crop protection, nutrient management, and seed operations.
What you'll do#
- Perform crop scouting and manage crop protection and nutrient products.
- Handle daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain product quality.
- Complete housecleaning tasks and keep accurate records.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment like sprayers, trucks, conveyors, and floaters.
- Provide customer service and support to our clients.
- Follow state, local, and company safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Background knowledge or experience in agriculture.
