About the role#
The Forecasting Process Optimization Intern will help evaluate and improve inventory control processes. You will focus on how these processes impact forecast accuracy and inventory performance across the CNH depot network. This role involves analyzing current practices, researching industry standards, and working with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven improvements.
What you'll do#
- Assess current inventory control and forecasting processes to identify inefficiencies.
- Collect and analyze operational data to understand current performance.
- Partner with Materials Planning, Inventory Control, and Operations teams to gather requirements.
- Research industry best practices in demand planning and inventory management.
- Map processes and document findings, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Build business cases and implementation plans for your recommendations.
- Support the execution of approved changes including testing and training.
- Track and measure the results of implemented improvements.
- Travel to CNH depot locations as needed to observe operations.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on project outcomes to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, pursuing at minimum a Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
