About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will join the Auto & Home Pricing team in Montreal to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry. This position operates on a hybrid model with two days per week in the office.
What you'll do#
- Participate in pricing projects for the national home and auto insurance portfolio.
- Design, improve, and automate files to select assumptions and implement rate changes.
- Use programming languages and modeling software including SQL, R, Python, and other underwriting tools.
- Analyze data to identify trends, generate recommendations, and support decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in actuarial science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and French. English fluency is required for this role as you will work with teams outside of Quebec.
- Experience with R, Python, SAS, and SQL is considered an asset.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.

- Compensation: Starting at $30 per hour plus a 5% bilingual premium.
