About the role#
The Aspire Business Clinic (ABC) is hiring student employees to assist with daily operations within the Robert W. Plaster School of Business. This role involves direct interaction with clients and project teams to develop business solutions. You will work under the guidance of the ABC Director and faculty members.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Director during new client intake meetings.
- Manage and develop project timelines for clients.
- Coordinate outreach efforts to find potential new clients.
- Collaborate with your project team to create actionable solutions.
- Attend and contribute to all project team meetings.
- Maintain professional communication with clients at all times.
- Occasionally attend meetings outside of standard business hours to accommodate client needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Columbia College.
- Junior or senior standing is preferred.
- One year of experience with CSMAC.
- Practical experience in graphic design and social media.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
Location & details#
- Location: Columbia, Missouri.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, rolling basis.
- Compensation: $15 per hour for the 2026/27 academic year.
- Requirements: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal background check.
