    About the role#

    Columbia College is hiring a Graduate Assistant for the Strength and Conditioning department. This part-time position supports the athletic program by assisting staff with daily operations and team coverage. You will work with student-athletes, coaches, and staff to maintain program integrity and follow NAIA rules.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with daily workouts and coverage for all athletic teams.
    • Help design and implement strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams.
    • Supervise training sessions to ensure safety, proper technique, and compliance.
    • Track athlete progress and adjust workouts alongside athletic trainers and coaches.
    • Provide performance feedback to athletes.
    • Participate in athletic department and program fund-raising.
    • Attend staff development sessions, clinics, and certification trainings.
    • Stay informed on current research and trends in sport science.

    What you'll need#

    • A Bachelor's degree.
    • Acceptance into a graduate program at Columbia College.
    • Certification or eligibility for certification.
    • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group including students, faculty, and alumni.

    • Location: Columbia, MO.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Spring 2027.
    • Compensation: $10,000 stipend paid over a 10-month period from August to May.
    • This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
