About the role#
As a Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate, you will complete your required US internship hours to build upon your existing Pharmacist education. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to gain knowledge, skills, and experience in patient care, practice management, and leadership. This role is designed to prepare you to pass all required pharmacist licensure exams and processes. You are required to complete your internship within 18 months and obtain pharmacist licensure within 120 days of finishing your required hours.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while delivering exceptional patient care.
- Greet customers, assist with questions, and provide personalized service.
- Process prescriptions, including translation of SIG codes, labeling, and resolving third-party rejections.
- Counsel patients under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Support the pharmacy manager in motivating and developing support staff.
- Identify business opportunities and implement solutions to improve performance.
- Maintain in-stock inventory and comply with all federal and state laws, as well as company policies.
- Deliver health care services such as point-of-care testing and immunizations.
- Participate in store operational meetings and coordinate training for pharmacy support staff.
What you'll need#
- Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a non-US accredited school of pharmacy.
- Active Pharmacy Intern license in the state where the district is located.
- Successful completion of the FPGEE and TOEFL.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
- Proficiency in time management, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Ability to lift and exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally.
- Eligibility to immunize is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- This is a full-time, on-site, paid position.
