About the role#
This position is for Non-US Accredited Foreign Pharmacy Graduates seeking to complete required US internship hours. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to gain the knowledge and skills necessary for US pharmacist licensure. The program requires completion of all internship hours within 18 months, with the goal of obtaining pharmacist licensure within 120 days of finishing those hours.
What you'll do#
- Assist pharmacy and front store customers with questions and concerns.
- Process prescriptions, including translation of SIG codes and drug selection.
- Support the supervising pharmacist in dispensing drugs and monitoring compliance.
- Maintain pharmacy department cleanliness and organization according to company standards.
- Counsel customers under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
What you'll need#
- Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy.
- Active Pharmacy Intern license in the state of Kentucky.
- Successfully passed FPGEE and TOEFL exams.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED).
