About the role#
Dee Zee, Inc. is hiring a Marketing Intern for the summer of 2027. You will support our marketing, communications, and brand initiatives while gaining experience in the manufacturing sector. This role involves both department projects and the coordination of events for our internship program. The internship runs from June 1, 2027, through September 3, 2027, with flexibility for your specific availability.
What you'll do#
- Create and manage social media content for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Research market trends and competitors to improve our brand visibility.
- Assist with marketing materials for digital and other communication channels.
- Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and creative projects like photography and video.
- Help plan intern events by handling logistics, scheduling, and communications.
- Maintain our brand standards across all internal and external communications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
- Strong writing, organization, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.
- A genuine interest in marketing, content creation, and event planning.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Des Moines, Iowa.
- The role is full-time and on-site.
- This is a paid internship.
- Work may occasionally take place in production areas with exposure to dust, coolant, mist, noise, and temperature changes.
