About the role#
We are looking for a Transportation Engineering Intern to join our team in Rancho Cordova for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position where you will gain hands-on experience by supporting a range of projects for our local and national transportation clients. You will work directly with our staff and senior leaders while participating in professional development workshops.
What you'll do#
- Support a broad range of project types for local and national transportation clients.
- Gain hands-on project experience and apply your classroom knowledge to real-world tasks.
- Participate in a series of workshops and events to learn about our services and projects.
- Collaborate with staff and senior leaders across the business.
- Work on a summer-long group project to address issues impacting firm strategy.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a transportation emphasis preferred.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
- A desire to work in a team environment.
- Experience using CADD, such as MicroStation or AutoCAD, is a plus.
