About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for the Fall 2026 course ANI-3301-A Character Rigging. This is a paid, part-time position requiring 4 to 5 hours of work per week between September 1 and December 8, 2026. Applicants must be currently matriculated students at DigiPen in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. You must have passed ANI-3301 with a grade of B or better.
What you'll do#
- Assist students during lab sessions and scheduled office hours.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Meet with students online if the situation requires it.
- Track and report your hours worked accurately.
- Arrive on time and prepared for class sessions.
- Assist the instructor with equipment setup, lecture presentations, and grading.
What you'll need#
- Proven proficiency with the course material.
- Comfort with multiple aspects of rigging.
- A positive, approachable attitude and a desire to help others.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivation and reliability.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Redmond, Washington.
- Work is on-site. You must reside within the State of Washington.
- You cannot work during times when you have a scheduled class.
- Compensation ranges from $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your number of terms worked at DigiPen.
