About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for the DES-100-A Lab 2 course during the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position. You will work 5-10 hours per week. You must be a currently matriculated student residing in Washington state to qualify. You cannot work during times when you have a scheduled class.
What you'll do#
- Grade student work and upload results to Moodle.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their assignments.
- Assist students in person during campus labs.
- Meet with students online if they request additional support.
- Help the instructor with setup, operations, and student presentations.
- Track and report your hours worked.
What you'll need#
- Proven proficiency with Unity and visual scripting.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and good academic standing.
- Completion of DES-100 with a grade of B or better.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help others succeed.
- Comfort interacting with peers as a mentor.
- Ability to attend at least one full lab section.
- Punctuality and the ability to focus entirely on work duties during lab hours.

- Compensation: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, based on your number of terms worked at DigiPen.
