About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for DES-320 System Design II for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports the instructor in the classroom and provides mentorship to students enrolled in the course.
What you'll do#
- Assist the instructor with classroom tasks as requested.
- Set up and operate equipment, including running slide decks for lectures.
- Facilitate student presentations and answer questions during lab sessions.
- Pre-grade assessments and manage attendance records.
- Grade assignments outside of class and meet regularly with the instructor.
- Track and report your hours worked.
What you'll need#
- Current matriculated student status at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Proven proficiency with the DES-320 course material.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help peers succeed.
- Comfort interacting with other students in a mentorship capacity.
- Ability to maintain focus and arrive on time for all scheduled work hours.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 to December 16).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: 5 to 10 hours per week.
- Note: Student workers must reside in Washington and are not permitted to work during their own scheduled class times.
